Senior Audit Manager, Wealth Management

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Plan and manage audits of large or complex Wealth Management businesses.
• Assess business processes, inherent risks, management and operational controls, and residual risks.
• Identify key business controls, design audit procedures, and test control design and effectiveness.
• Assess the severity and materiality of control weaknesses and drive clear audit reporting.
• Lead multi-skilled audit teams and provide assignment leadership as an individual contributor.
• Coach team members on developmental needs during assignments and team initiatives.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of auditing practices, accounting principles, and accounting processes.
• Strong Wealth Management knowledge, including Asset Management, Brokerage, and Private Wealth Management.
• Knowledge of the related regulatory environment in Canada.
• Auditing or accounting designation such as CA, CMA, CFA, CPA, or ACCA, and a business degree such as an MBA.
• Experience in banking and financial services, internal or external audit, assurance, or consulting services.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
