Manufacturing Engineering Technician-General (Manufacturing)

Location: Fayetteville, Tennessee, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Analyze tooling, process steps, labor data, and material usage for engineering changes and new products.
• Conduct time studies, prototype production, process experiments, and tests to improve efficiency and production methods.
• Coordinate process trials for changed and new products, including packaging and safe handling.
• Interpret quality reports and recommend actions to Operations.
• Research manufacturing methods and work with Engineering and Operations to establish best practices.
• Train manufacturing operators and create standard work and process documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lead and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Attention to detail and ability to integrate equipment designs and layouts.
• Ability to interpret technical journals, CAD drawings, technical instructions, data, and mathematical information.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• SolidWorks or equivalent CAD experience.
