Sr. Director, Expert Functions Audit (Finance and Workplace)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States

Base salary: $119,000–$220,000 per year, plus annual bonus or commission and equity.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the audit plan for the Finance and Workplace sub-portfolio in collaboration with the Head of Expert Functions Audit.
• Manage Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Real Estate, and Facilities audit activities, including coordination with third-party service providers.
• Lead multiple concurrent audit projects, defining scopes, performing procedures, and evaluating business processes and internal controls.
• Partner with senior Finance and Workplace leaders to assess risk management, governance, processes, and control effectiveness.
• Lead, coach, and develop audit professionals while setting priorities and managing performance.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure audit action plans address the root causes of findings.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in internal audit or a related risk-focused discipline.
• Experience working with regulated businesses and/or financial exchanges.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing and developing audit professionals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with enterprise functions such as Finance, HR, Legal, Workplace, or Strategy is preferred.
• Experience auditing US GAAP and financial reporting requirements, or familiarity with global regulatory environments and governance frameworks, is preferred.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Experience leading through organizational change and evolving business priorities.
