Location: Roseland, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

  • Prepare and review audit programs covering integrated, financial, cash, and financial team leader reviews, including assigned second-level reviews of non-SOX areas.
  • Manage day-to-day fieldwork operations, track team progress, and execute audit plans accurately and on schedule.
  • Develop an understanding of business operations, policies, and procedures under review.
  • Lead or participate in review closing calls and communicate observations and status updates to audit and business leadership.
  • Draft and review audit reports, distribute final reports, and conduct observation retests to verify implementation of action plans.
  • Support team development, performance reviews, recruiting, training, certification tracking, and internal audit program improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • At least 5 years of public accounting or internal audit experience; public company experience is preferred.
  • Technical education with a CPA or CIA certification in progress or already obtained; insurance designations are also expected.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, self-discipline, motivation, and written and oral communication skills.
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record at hiring and periodically thereafter.
  • Willingness and ability to travel minimally.
