Financial Operations Audit Manager

Location: Roseland, New Jersey, USA

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare and review audit programs covering integrated, financial, cash, and financial team leader reviews.
• Manage daily fieldwork, track review progress, and execute audit plans accurately and on time.
• Develop an understanding of business operations, policies, and procedures under review.
• Lead or participate in closing calls and communicate review status and observations to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Draft and review audit reports, distribute final reports, and conduct observation retests to verify action-plan implementation.
• Support team development, recruiting, training, performance reviews, certification tracking, and continued improvement of the internal audit department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least 5 years of public accounting or internal audit experience; public company experience is preferred.
• Active pursuit of technical education and a CPA or CIA certification, along with relevant insurance designations.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, self-discipline, and motivation.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally and provide an acceptable motor vehicle record at hiring and periodically thereafter.
