Senior Frontend Engineer

Location: United States; San Francisco. Salary and office requirements vary by location, with compensation tiers for San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, and other US cities.

Salary: $150,000–$240,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and scope. Equity is included for all full-time employees.

What you will do

• Own frontend projects from initial design through launch and post-launch results.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product direction and implementation.
• Build fast, accessible user interfaces and improve frontend performance.
• Contribute to technical discussions and balance short-term delivery with long-term architecture.
• Maintain strong engineering practices through code review, test coverage, and observability.
• Develop products across AI assistants, automated documents, growth systems, and enterprise workflow intelligence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production software at scale.
• Deep JavaScript experience with a modern frontend framework.
• Demonstrated experience improving frontend performance and accessibility.
• Product-minded approach and comfort solving unclear problems in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers.

Nice to have

• AI or LLM product experience.
• Startup experience.
