SEC Reporting Manager (Onsite/Hybrid in Cleveland)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States; onsite or hybrid

W2 hourly rate: $70–$90 per hour, depending on experience

What you will do

• Lead the preparation, review, and filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and other SEC disclosures.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual financial reporting processes and cross-functional information gathering.
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting disclosures under U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Partner with technical accounting, legal, tax, treasury, human resources, investor relations, and external audit teams.
• Review XBRL tagging, manage disclosure checklists, and support SOX and internal-control activities.
• Drive reporting process improvements and support earnings releases, capital-market transactions, acquisitions, and other strategic projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification required or strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or SEC reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, disclosure requirements, and SOX compliance.
• Experience coordinating external audits and managing audit-related requests.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with SEC reporting or disclosure management software.

Nice to have

• Big Four or national public accounting firm experience.
• Strong technical accounting experience with complex transactions and disclosure requirements.
