Manufacturing Associate - Reagent Production (DNA)

Location: USA - Portland, OR; work performed in Wilsonville, OR. Onsite laboratory role with a Wednesday-Saturday shift from 7:00am to 5:30pm.

What you will do

• Manufacture custom DNA-based intermediates and products in a high-throughput laboratory according to established SOPs.
• Handle reagents and operate laboratory equipment, including Hamilton liquid-handling robots, bioanalyzers, centrifuges, sealers, thermocyclers, spectrometers, and Illumina next-generation sequencers.
• Perform molecular and cell biology workflows, including PCR, DNA quantitation, purification, and cloning.
• Maintain detailed manufacturing records, update work instructions, and complete documentation in established software systems.
• Support troubleshooting and process-deviation handling with Leads and Supervisors.
• Package products for shipment and complete assigned tasks to keep the manufacturing schedule on track.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a high-throughput, fast-paced laboratory manufacturing environment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field is desirable.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and/or laboratory environments is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Atlassian applications, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials, stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and work flexible hours as needed.
