Flight Line Mechanic (A220)

Location: On-site in Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; 2nd shift

hirify.global operates a U.S. commercial aircraft manufacturing facility producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

• Perform Functional Test Procedures, pre-flight and post-flight inspections, daily inspections, and post-dock maintenance checks.
• Operate test equipment and tooling to test, troubleshoot, repair, and inspect aircraft systems using approved aircraft data.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs, rigging, component replacement, and rework on aircraft structures and systems.
• Maintain systems and components including landing gear, flight controls, anti-icing, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, ventilation, heating, cooling, and cabin interiors.
• Perform refuel and defuel operations, aircraft jacking and towing, fluid servicing, tire and strut servicing, and incoming inspections.
• Prepare maintenance documentation and support continuous improvement of flight-line troubleshooting skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of aviation experience, preferably in aviation manufacturing or repair.
• Valid A&P License required.
• Experience with aircraft servicing, including refuel/defuel, jacking, towing, hydraulic and engine oil servicing, and tire or strut servicing.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials in accordance with applicable policies.
• Current U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this U.S. position.
