Aviation Maintenance Technician

Location: Sugar Land, Texas, United States of America; relocation will be considered. The role requires approximately 20% travel and flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

hirify.global operates company-owned aircraft supported by an aviation maintenance team.

What you will do

• Maintain and repair company-owned aircraft to meet FAA, OEM, and company airworthiness requirements.
• Perform airframe and powerplant maintenance, install engineering changes, and remove and install mechanical components.
• Assist with inspections and, after training, work on aircraft communication, navigation, radar, autopilot, and other electronic systems.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight activities, fueling, defueling, towing, passenger escort, baggage handling, and technical support for aircrew.
• Maintain tool accountability, follow safety procedures and PPE requirements, and complete assigned compliance and technical training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least four years of FAA A&P license experience without violations.
• At least four years of experience with large-cabin Gulfstream or Embraer Praetor 500/600 aircraft.
• At least four years of experience using Gulfstream CMP or a similar maintenance tracking program.
• Valid driver’s license and US Passport required.
• Ability to work at heights, operate aviation support equipment after training, lift up to 75 pounds, and pass physical, drug, and background checks.

Nice to have

• Inspection Authorization, which will be required after the first year and paid for by hirify.global.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Gulfstream G650 or Embraer Praetor 500/600 experience.
• FlightSafety International training or an avionics background.
