Oncology Nurse Navigator (Oncology Nursing)

Location: Foxborough, Massachusetts, United States; primarily onsite with occasional remote work.

Salary: $88,100–$99,200 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate nursing care for an assigned group of oncology patients, including assessment, education, documentation, referrals, and follow-up.
• Provide telephone triage, symptom management, oral chemotherapy monitoring, and patient education.
• Support patients and caregivers across diagnosis, active treatment, survivorship, chronic cancer management, and end-of-life care.
• Act as a liaison among patients, families, caregivers, providers, and collaborating nursing professionals.
• Track program metrics and outcomes, support quality improvement, and contribute to program evaluation and development.
• Monitor patient safety, maintain evidence-based nursing practice, and participate in shared governance and research activities.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with completion of the Oncology Nurse Residency Program or at least one year of recent RN experience.
• AHA BLS certification is required; AHA ACLS is accepted as a minimum qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is strongly preferred; candidates with an associate degree must complete a BSN within four years.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team, apply critical thinking, make independent decisions, and manage complex patient needs.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English and perform pharmaceutical calculations.
• Ability to work onsite in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with occasional remote work.

Nice to have

• Ambulatory or oncology nursing experience.
• Professional nursing certification such as OCN, BMTCN, CPHON, AOCNP, CRNI, or RN-BC.
