Senior Logistician

Location: Dayton, Ohio, supporting Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The role requires support for a U.S. Air Force program office and travel of up to 25%.

What you will do

• Coordinate Integrated Logistics Support and product support elements across supply support, maintenance planning, support equipment, facilities, technical data, training, manpower, and transportation.
• Develop and implement weapon system lifecycle sustainment and supportability strategies aligned with government acquisition objectives.
• Develop, review, and maintain LCSPs, ILSPs, ISPs, Technical Orders, technical manuals, RCMA materials, and related logistics documentation.
• Perform logistics support analyses covering RAM-C, supportability, lifecycle cost, maintenance, supply support, and sustainment requirements.
• Analyze DMSMS, parts availability, supply chain deficiencies, lead times, sources of repair, and other sustainment risks, recommending corrective actions or replacements.
• Support acquisition and sustainment activities, technical data management, asset management, program reviews, IPTs, technical reviews, and government decision-making.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the Department of Defense.
• Advanced logistics expertise with the ability to independently perform complex tasks and oversee junior and journeyman personnel.
• Experience with acquisition logistics, Integrated Logistics Support, product support, lifecycle sustainment, logistics support analysis, supply support, maintenance planning, technical data, and configuration management.
• Experience analyzing weapon system logistics requirements, sustainment risks, supportability issues, and supply chain concerns.
• Strong analytical, technical writing, communication, organizational, and program support skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Tier 3 Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting U.S. Air Force weapon system acquisition and sustainment programs.
• Experience with DMSMS, RAM-C, GFP/GFE, support equipment, depot maintenance, post-production support, and supply chain management.
• Experience with technical order management, logistics databases, electronic technical management systems, depot activation, source of repair, LSA, or SMR analysis.
• Experience working with Air Force program offices, engineering organizations, supply activities, maintainers, and acquisition and sustainment stakeholders.
