Manager, Supply Depot Operations (Ammunition Logistics)

Location: Onsite at Hawthorne Army Depot in Hawthorne, Nevada, United States. U.S. or naturalized citizenship is required; government security clearance may be required.

Salary: $94,960–$142,440 hourly pay range.

What you will do

• Plan Supply Depot Operations with the Director, Ammunition Logistics and Demil Operations, establishing goals, priorities, and operating policies.
• Manage ammunition receipt, storage, issue, inventory control, space allocation, stock control, and accountability activities.
• Direct traffic management and commercial transportation activities for ammunition and related materials.
• Manage staffing, work priorities, equipment, budgets, and operational resources; assume delegated Director or Deputy Director duties when assigned.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide work direction and performance input for assigned supervisors and employees.
• Monitor compliance with Department of Defense, contractual, federal, state, safety, environmental, and security requirements, and support corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, business, management, a technical discipline, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of military, munitions, depot, ammunition logistics, transportation, inventory, or related operations experience.
• Experience coordinating operational work, compliance requirements, or employees in a depot or government-contract environment.
• Ability to complete and maintain AMC Regulation 350-4 ammunition operations certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada driver’s license and required government security clearance, including Secret clearance when assigned.
• U.S. or naturalized citizenship is required, and the role must be performed onsite in Hawthorne, Nevada.
