Medical Assistant / LPN - Manchester Urology Nashua - Full Time (Urology)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States — onsite at 17 Riverside St, Suite 201

What you will do

• Prepare charts and examination rooms, review clinical information, and room patients for provider visits.
• Record vital signs, condition-specific measurements, medical histories, allergies, medications, and health maintenance information.
• Perform and document hearing, vision, respiratory, ECG, screening, point-of-care, and diagnostic testing.
• Collect and process specimens, perform venipuncture as needed, and administer medications and immunizations.
• Support office-based urologic procedures including cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate biopsy, urodynamic testing, and intravesical therapies.
• Process prescription refills and prior authorizations, maintain clinical supplies, and support accurate documentation and efficient patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• MA I: completion of an accredited medical assistant program, an MA training program with externship, or relevant healthcare experience with formal training.
• MA II: at least 3 years of experience as a medical assistant.
• Relevant healthcare experience is required; ambulatory clinical experience is preferred.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification is preferred for MA I and required for MA II.
• BLS authorization must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
