Assistant Service Technician (Electronics Troubleshooting)

Location: Sarasota, Florida; field service across the greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota-Bradenton region, including Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Lakewood Ranch, and Palmetto. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay rate: $20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support service technicians at customer facilities by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, conducting tests, and resolving problems.
• Plan daily travel schedules and provide service throughout the assigned Tampa Bay and Sarasota-Bradenton territory.
• Order and gather parts, complete installations, and perform acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, maintain supplies, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Document service and installation activities through forms, reports, logs, and records while maintaining customer confidentiality.

Requirements

• High school diploma and/or related associate degree.
• One to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and follow written or oral instructions using common sense.
• Customer focus, electronics troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, reporting, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned service territory.
• Ability to frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.
