Technical Program Manager (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: San Francisco, CA; onsite five days a week

Base salary: $122,000–$151,000 per year, plus potential equity awards.

hirify.global commercializes production-ready autonomous vehicle technology, including Autonomous Haulage Systems for mines, quarries, and construction sites.

What you will do

• Build and maintain one tracked calendar covering customer-facing dates across active deployment sites, including kickoffs, go-lives, ramp milestones, and contractual deadlines.
• Collect execution status directly from delivery teams and keep milestone tracking current across concurrent sites.
• Identify schedule risks early using leading indicators and distinguish normal variance from material delivery risk.
• Own customer communication when timelines change, explaining what changed, why it changed, and the new commitment.
• Coordinate with Sales, Deployment, and Customer Success to align customer messaging with internal delivery expectations.

Requirements

• External or customer-facing program management experience.
• Direct experience handling a difficult conversation about a slipped date with a paying customer.
• Ability to build and maintain a live tracking system across several concurrent sites.
• Proactive risk identification and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in the San Francisco office five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in deployment, customer success, or delivery for hardware or field-deployed technology products.
• Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, or heavy industrial equipment customer programs.
• Familiarity with Linear or a similar execution-tracking tool.
