Data Analyst II (Data Governance)

Location: Onsite at the Upstream Building AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights across multiple domains.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and visualizations using Python, SQL, and Tableau CRM.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Profile, cleanse, and validate data to support data quality and reliability.
• Identify relevant data sources and apply statistical techniques to business challenges.
• Communicate findings and contribute to process improvements and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics, analytics, mathematics, finance, or a related field, or two years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis, and modeling.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and CRM platforms.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality management, and metadata standards.
• Knowledge of exploratory data analysis, statistical techniques, and business metrics.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform for scalable data solutions.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, statistics, economics, analytics, mathematics, or information technology.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, healthcare, or eCommerce.
• Experience with Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau, and successful completion of relevant assessments.
