What you will do

• Prepare accurate financial statements under Swiss GAAP and applicable local GAAP.
• Ensure balance sheet and profit-and-loss figures accurately represent the entities’ financial position.
• Supervise accounting activities and review accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting documents.
• Authorize payments and ensure accurate transaction entry into the accounting system.
• Improve accounting methods, procedures, policies, and system processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate financial closing, reporting, and controlling activities with other finance functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in an accounting leadership role.
• 5+ years of experience as a certified public accountant recommended.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting regulations.
• Experience with SAP or a similar accounting system, including FICO.
• Strong budgeting, financial forecasting, financial analysis, communication, and leadership skills.
