IT Accounting Analyst

What you will do

• Perform month-end close activities, including preparing and recording journal entries.
• Review and reconcile month-end reports and supporting financial data.
• Evaluate the accuracy and reasonableness of information provided by business partners.
• Track IT project spend and support appropriate accounting treatment in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Provide information for tax reporting, respond to ad-hoc requests, and support accounting initiatives and internal controls.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree and relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience performing accounting in public accounting or an industry environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Ability to multitask and work proactively.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future employer immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant license.
• Experience with ERP applications, preferably SAP.
• Public accounting experience with a national firm.
