Staff Software Engineer with Agentic AI

Salary: $117,600–$206,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead technical design and hands-on engineering execution across development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications, APIs, services, distributed systems, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Build agentic AI applications and workflows using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, enterprise data, and external tools.
• Translate product requirements and architectural direction into technical designs, implementation plans, and production-ready software.
• Create reusable software components, integration patterns, and frameworks that improve engineering efficiency and scalability.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code and design reviews, and promote engineering standards across development teams.

Requirements

• Experience with software development, testing, deployment, production support, and scalable enterprise systems.
• Experience designing APIs, services, distributed systems, and secure integration patterns.
• Experience developing AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows with large language models and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Knowledge of automated testing, continuous integration and delivery, observability, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Ability to implement access controls, error handling, monitoring, and operational safeguards for software and AI solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience building reusable AI capabilities for orchestration, model integration, tool integration, state management, evaluation, and observability.
• Experience partnering with Architecture, Security, and engineering teams on reference architectures and responsible AI practices.
