Senior Platform Engineer (AI)

Base salary: $109,000–$158,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain internal web applications and services supporting engineering workflows.
• Modernize and re-architect legacy tools with scalable, maintainable technologies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Implement observability solutions with Prometheus and Grafana to improve reliability and performance.
• Integrate technologies including ObjectScript, OAuth2, Python, Node.js, SQL, and containerized environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and platform teams while contributing to code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, platform engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong programming skills in at least one major language, with proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
• Solid SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with GitLab, Perforce, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience implementing secure authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth2.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field; experience mentoring junior engineers or interns.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools.
• Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with software testing tools and automation frameworks.
• Experience with hirify.global IRIS and ObjectScript, or strong interest in learning them.
