AI Governance Architect (AI)

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 yearly, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Define and implement enterprise AI governance strategies, operating models, standards, policies, lifecycle controls, and approval workflows.
• Design and operationalize an enterprise AI Registry covering agents, MCP servers, applications, tools, foundation models, prompts, services, and APIs.
• Establish governance controls for agentic AI, autonomous workflows, multi-agent ecosystems, human oversight, auditability, explainability, monitoring, and accountability.
• Build an AI evaluation framework covering functional testing, accuracy, hallucinations, security, bias, fairness, agent behavior, compliance, and business outcomes.
• Define secure and scalable architecture patterns for Claude, OpenAI Custom GPTs, AWS Bedrock, AWS AI/ML services, and MCP-based ecosystems.
• Lead AI risk reviews, regulatory compliance activities, audit documentation, governance reporting, and senior stakeholder presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, technology governance, AI/ML platforms, or risk management.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing AI Governance or Model Governance frameworks.
• Experience building enterprise inventories, asset registries, governance repositories, or catalog solutions.
• Experience with Claude LLM, OpenAI or Custom GPT implementations, and AWS services including Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and IAM.
• Strong understanding of data privacy, cybersecurity, and Financial Services regulatory requirements, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building an enterprise AI Registry from concept through implementation.
• Experience governing agentic AI ecosystems, MCP servers, AI marketplaces, or AI service catalogs.
• Familiarity with model risk management frameworks and banking, asset management, wealth management, capital markets, or insurance.
• AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, TOGAF, or equivalent certification.
