Director, Optimization Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States; employees near hirify.global offices may choose fully remote or hybrid work with office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional business travel is required, approximately 4–6 times per year.

Salary: $88,000–$140,000 annually, adjusted based on location, experience, qualifications, and market data.

What you will do

• Own demand-forecasting and capacity-optimization models for digital assessments from methodology selection through deployment.
• Develop, validate, and deploy forecasting, optimization, simulation, predictive, and policy-impact models.
• Build analytics pipelines, reporting, and dashboards that improve operational visibility, cost efficiency, and decision speed.
• Partner with Product, Program, Operations, Technology, Finance, and customer-experience stakeholders to embed analytics into operational decisions.
• Translate analytic findings and ambiguous operational problems into clear recommendations and structured approaches.
• Shape the analytics roadmap by identifying modeling opportunities, technical tradeoffs, and emerging needs.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of practical data analysis experience, including leading analytics work in a professional setting.
• Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, economics, or another quantitative field.
• Advanced skills in forecasting, statistical analysis, and cost assessment.
• Experience with predictive modeling, optimization, forecasting, cost assessment, or decision support.
• Experience applying analytics to operational, customer-experience, or process-improvement challenges in government, education, technology, or service-based industries.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel 4–6 times annually for hirify.global business.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a quantitative or equivalent field.
• Experience with modern analytic tools, AI-assisted coding, or data synthesis.
