Data Modeler Lead (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable physical data models in Snowflake.
• Translate conceptual and logical models into Snowflake schemas, tables, and views.
• Collaborate with data engineers on ETL/ELT processes and data integration patterns.
• Align data models and metadata with governance standards and tools such as Collibra.
• Document modeling and transformation logic for traceability and compliance.
• Support performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines in a distributed environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Modeler.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Expertise in Snowflake physical data modeling and SQL.
• Mandatory experience with Data Vault 2.0.
• Understanding of data integration and ETL/ELT principles.
• Experience with metadata, data governance, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Matillion, or Fivetran.
• Familiarity with AWS services, particularly S3.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences data and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with data quality tools such as Ataccama.
