HR Project Manager (HRIS)

Location: Warren, New Jersey, United States; hybrid schedule with three days in office and two days remote each week

Salary: $102,000–$124,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of strategic HR initiatives and HRIS projects from planning through implementation.
• Partner with HR, HRIS, IT, People Analytics, Talent, business leaders, and external stakeholders to define project plans and workstreams.
• Coordinate HRIS requirements, design discussions, testing, issue resolution, launch readiness, communications, and post-implementation follow-up.
• Lead project governance through status reporting, decision logs, risk and issue tracking, dependency management, and stakeholder updates.
• Create leadership-ready project plans, presentations, timelines, dashboards, recommendations, and summaries.
• Support process improvement and change management, including communications, training coordination, readiness planning, and adoption tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in HR, HR transformation, HR operations, HR shared services, HRIS, or enterprise technology.
• Experience with HR systems, process improvement, data, reporting, workflow design, testing, configurations, or system enhancements; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong project planning, governance, stakeholder management, risk management, dependency tracking, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with project management tools and Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across HR, IT, business teams, and external partners.
