Senior Network Administrator

Location: Hybrid in Alexandria, Virginia, United States

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Administer and maintain NIPRNet and SIPRNet infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, TACLANEs, and support servers.
• Apply security hardening and configuration baselines in accordance with DoD, DISA, STIG, and RMF requirements.
• Review ACAS and SCAP vulnerability scans, remediate findings, and support system accreditation.
• Maintain network architecture diagrams, configuration baselines, change records, and RMF accreditation artifacts.
• Monitor performance and security alerts, troubleshoot connectivity and authentication issues, and support classified environments.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, systems engineers, and program leadership on technical reviews and network security improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 9+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or equivalent experience.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security, or GSEC.
• Expert-level experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• At least 3 years of hands-on TACLANE experience with KG-175D/F/N/G and the GEM management console at configuration and engineering build level.
• Strong knowledge of DoD STIGs, RMF processes, DISA security standards, network hardening, vulnerability remediation, and accreditation.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Nice to have

• U.S. Coast Guard experience.
• Experience with Cisco ISE, DoD Zero Trust implementation, and Infoblox DNS.
• Experience designing redundant and failover TACLANE networks.
• Experience working with senior government leadership or military officials.
