Ambassador Program Impact Manager

Location: Remote within the United States, with California specified; optional co-working space available in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta

Salary: $82,000–$98,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and support impact campaigns connecting films and Ambassador stories with advocacy, organizing, policy, and community engagement opportunities.
• Build respectful relationships with Ambassadors, advocacy organizations, community partners, screening hosts, and external stakeholders.
• Identify and pitch opportunities for screenings, panels, conferences, media engagements, trainings, workshops, and public programs.
• Coordinate Ambassador participation, speaker logistics, event preparation, communications, and follow-up.
• Maintain work plans, calendars, trackers, Asana projects, partnership records, and program operations.
• Track engagement metrics, collect feedback, document outcomes, and recommend improvements to program and campaign strategy.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in criminal justice reform advocacy, partnerships, campaigns, organizing, nonprofit management, community engagement, social impact, program management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing advocacy, social-impact, organizing, narrative-change, or issue-based campaigns.
• Strong strategic, project-management, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, move projects forward independently, coordinate across teams, and escalate challenges appropriately.
• Ability to work in partnership with directly impacted leaders and communities while supporting lived-experience leadership.
• Commitment to equity, accountability, co-creation, and centering directly impacted leadership.

Nice to have

• Relationships within criminal justice reform, advocacy, organizing, policy, or social-impact networks.
• Experience with documentary film impact campaigns, impact producing, film distribution, or social-impact entertainment.
• Experience in legislative advocacy, lobbying, policy campaigns, grassroots organizing, coalition building, screenings, or community activations.
• Experience facilitating meetings, trainings, panels, coalition conversations, or community discussions.
• Familiarity with narrative-change strategies, CRM systems, and project-management platforms.
