Senior Production Planner

Location: On-site in Hauppauge, New York, United States

Annual salary: $99,500–$115,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, material availability, labor capacity, and equipment utilization.
• Manage and adjust production plans in Oracle to respond to changing business conditions and protect customer commitments.
• Create, analyze, and communicate KPIs to measure planning effectiveness and support data-driven decisions.
• Lead root-cause investigations into planning, supply, and production challenges and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Drive cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, system optimization, capacity enhancement, and supply chain performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in production and material planning.
• Experience with supply chain planning functions in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to recommend changes to planning attributes to improve supply.
• Excellent data analysis and presentation skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience using Oracle Fusion ERP for planning.
• Experience using Power BI to create reports and analyze data.
• APICS CPIM certification.
