Shift Planner (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Plan, monitor, and adjust production activities to ensure the weekly production plan is realized with optimized stock levels.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to guarantee on-time and in-full material availability for work centers.
• Secure material availability within a 4-week horizon and proactively mitigate or escalate shortages.
• Report production progress and identify risks impacting output and planned starts for the upcoming week.
• Navigate and input critical production data into SAP/ERP systems.
• Provide input and initiate improvements for cycle times and delivery processes within the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least six months of experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
• Knowledge of Lean Methodology or other continuous improvement methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Requires full on-site presence in Wilton, CT.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing required protective gear.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Communications.
• APICS certifications in manufacturing planning, supply chain, or project management.
