Shift Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Wilton, Connecticut, United States; onsite presence is required.

hirify.global manufactures EXE, NXE, DUV, and APPS systems at its Wilton Factory.

What you will do

• Plan, monitor, and adjust production activities to achieve agreed production plans while optimizing work-in-progress and stock levels.
• Coordinate with warehouse, material handling, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available for production on time and in full.
• Secure material availability across a four-week planning horizon, mitigating and escalating shortages.
• Report production progress, identify risks affecting output and future production starts, and escalate them to the production planner.
• Participate in tier meetings and contribute to improvements in cycle times and delivery processes.
• Enter and maintain planning information in SAP or another ERP system.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least six months of experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system.
• Knowledge of Lean methodology or other continuous improvement methods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Wilton, Connecticut, including movement around the campus and work in a clean room for the full shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and work around potential strong magnetic fields, high voltage, and electrical currents.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain management, or communications.
• APICS certification in manufacturing planning, supply chain, project management, engineering, or master data configuration.
