Sr. Staff Software Engineer (Agentic AI)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States

Salary: $145,600–$240,695 annual base pay. Additional performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards may be available.

What you will do

• Define the enterprise-wide technical strategy and long-term vision for agentic AI across the workforce operating platform.
• Architect foundational agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, platform capabilities, and development standards using Google ADK and other agentic platforms.
• Design advanced multi-agent systems, including hierarchical architectures, swarm intelligence, adversarial networks, and hybrid human-agent workflows.
• Build strategic tools, APIs, and MCP servers that integrate agents with the enterprise product ecosystem.
• Establish safety, governance, guardrail, monitoring, observability, incident response, reliability, and cost-efficiency standards for agentic systems.
• Influence technical direction across multiple organizations, mentor senior technical leaders, and represent the organization through publications, conferences, open source, and technology partnerships.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years building production agentic AI systems or LLM-powered applications at scale.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Deep expertise in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with experience setting coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Production experience with Google ADK, Anthropic Claude SDK, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar agent platforms.
• Expert understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering, ReAct, Chain-of-Thought, constitutional AI, and multi-agent collaboration patterns.
• Strong experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS, modern DevOps, cross-organizational technical leadership, complex systems, and mentoring senior engineers.
