Graduate Project Manager (Grid Technologies)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom; work involves the Heaton office, customer offices, and construction sites.

What you will do

• Develop knowledge of project scope definition, project control, project programming, and financial and commercial management.
• Participate in turn-key Grid Technology projects as part of an entry-level talent team.
• Work with engineering, planning, procurement, tendering, and commercial departments.
• Engage with customers and site-based construction teams to support project delivery.
• Take part in societal engagement activities and represent the business at STEM events.
• Follow an individual training plan and build skills for a project management career.

Requirements

• Working toward an engineering degree or holding an engineering degree with a minimum 2:1 grade.
• Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a positive, proactive approach.
• Comfort working and reporting across all levels of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks and projects with appropriate support.
• Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
