Business Development Associate

Location: Fully remote; willingness to travel is required.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year.

What you will do

• Support the full sales pipeline, including prospecting, qualification, proposals, negotiations, and closing.
• Build relationships with new prospects, clients, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate sales activity records in the CRM for pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Research and support grant and procurement responses.
• Identify new services, process improvements, and partnership opportunities within existing accounts.
• Represent CSD Access at industry, marketing, and customer-focused events to generate leads and contract opportunities.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language is required.
• Willingness to travel is required.
• Strong English writing and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of sales techniques such as networking, prospecting, lead generation, and relationship management.
• Research, analytical, organizational, and deadline-management skills.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience with or strong interest in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community and accessible communications.
• Knowledge of accessible telecommunications, relay services, or direct video calling.
