Sr. Test & Assembly Tech (Nuclear)

Location: Round Rock, Texas, United States; onsite

Salary: $25.38–$27.10 per hour

What you will do

• Perform complex assembly, testing, repair, and troubleshooting using technical drawings, test procedures, tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment.
• Evaluate customer returns and determine repair actions required to meet customer and product requirements.
• Find faults to the subassembly and component level using circuit diagrams and test equipment.
• Conduct stage inspections, support final inspections, complete release documentation, and verify products.
• Provide practical training and technical support to other technicians.
• Use or receive training on lathes, drills, mills, threaders, saws, bead blasters, sanders, welding, brazing, micro-TIG welding, laser welding, and spot welding.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person due to the nature of the work performed at the site.
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 4–6 years of assembly, testing, repair, troubleshooting, or related technical experience.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, test procedures, circuit diagrams, and product documentation.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing product issues at the subassembly or component level.
• Ability to support other technicians and maintain accurate quality documentation.
