Sr Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States. Hybrid work model with in-office attendance required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; remote placement will not be considered. Primarily PT working hours. Relocation may be offered based on job level.

Target base salary: $175,000–$200,000 per year, excluding potential equity awards and annual bonus.

What you will do

• Define and evolve strategy for owned Personal Loan problem areas and performance goals.
• Translate business objectives and customer insights into outcome-oriented product roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional execution from discovery through launch, iteration, and measurable results.
• Use qualitative and quantitative research, experimentation, and data analysis to validate problems and prioritize solutions.
• Reduce friction across the Personal Loan journey and improve conversion, engagement, and funnel performance.
• Partner with engineering, design, analytics, risk, compliance, operations, and marketing teams while communicating product direction and tradeoffs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience owning customer-facing, data-driven products.
• Demonstrated strength in product discovery, prioritization, execution, and outcome ownership.
• Experience working in regulated environments and balancing customer experience with business and risk considerations.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data or partnering with analytics teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in San Francisco, with in-person attendance required three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, lending, or financial services.
• Familiarity with personal loan origination, underwriting, credit decisioning, fraud/KYC, or funnel optimization.
• Experience leading complex initiatives and influencing without authority.
