TL;DR
Sr Manager, Inventory Management (Government Property Compliance) (FAR/DFARS): Leading division-level government property compliance programs, audit strategies, business system readiness, and property governance with an accent on United States Government procurement regulations, internal controls, and audit readiness. Focus on resolving complex auditor findings, developing corrective action plans, preparing executive briefings, and coordinating compliance across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Security, and Program Management.

Location: Anaheim, California, United States. On-site role with travel of up to 25% for audits, training engagements, and divisional standardization efforts. Must be a United States Citizen and hold an active Secret Security Clearance on Day 1.

Salary: $109,000–$202,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of division-level government property compliance programs.
  • Develop audit strategies for business systems, operational audits, internal controls, mandatory disclosures, and property management processes.
  • Maintain approved status and operational excellence for the Material Management and Accounting System and Property business systems.
  • Establish standardized property management procedures, metrics, governance frameworks, and audit-readiness practices.
  • Resolve complex issues raised by government auditors and customer agencies, including risk mitigation and corrective action strategies.
  • Prepare audit reports, executive briefings, cost impact analyses, and technical position responses while coordinating with leadership and legal counsel.

Requirements

  • Mastery-level knowledge of government property, compliance programs, FAR, and DFARS requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of progressive government property or compliance experience; or a graduate degree and at least 10 years of related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, 14–16 years of relevant leadership experience.
  • Experience leading teams, implementing enterprise programs, and managing compliance strategies in a regulated environment.
  • United States citizenship required.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required on Day 1.

Nice to have

  • Industry certifications related to government property management or compliance, including National Property Management Association certifications.
  • Familiarity with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment tools and government property reporting systems.
  • Experience with United States Navy Supply System Customer Asset Visibility.
