Technical Recruiting Specialist

Location: Hybrid in New Haven, Connecticut, United States. Authorization to work in the United States is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year when the work is performed in Connecticut.

What you will do

• Develop proactive sourcing strategies for current and anticipated technology hiring needs.
• Identify, engage, and build relationships with qualified and passive technology candidates.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines across software engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, data and analytics, enterprise applications, IT leadership, and emerging technologies.
• Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent databases, professional networks, and industry communities to source candidates.
• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to create candidate profiles and sourcing plans.
• Provide market intelligence and recommend sourcing tools, platforms, and strategies to improve talent acquisition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related field.
• Experience sourcing for technical or technology-related positions is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms, Boolean search, and internet research.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting analytics or reporting tools is preferred.
