Senior Federal Budget Analyst

Location: Washington, DC, United States; hybrid setup with remote support authorized only with COR and CO approval

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead analysis and support for federal budget formulation and execution.
• Maintain Treasury budget models and financial dashboards covering service activation dates, invoices, disputes, and payment status.
• Support CPIC lifecycle activities, service planner updates, cost projections, and IT portfolio reporting.
• Manage Standard Operating Procedures and support SLA credit applications and reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly invoice summaries and cost allocation files in accordance with Treasury financial compliance standards.
• Improve budgeting processes through SharePoint management and real-time budget model updates.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required with no exceptions.
• At least 5 years of experience in federal budget execution, CPIC processes, and financial analysis.
• Experience with the Department of the Treasury or a similar federal agency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and formula logic.
• Familiarity with federal financial management systems such as GFEBS, DCAS, and LMP, plus payment processes including IPP, SLA, and ULO reconciliation.
• High Public Trust clearance (Tier 4/BI) and a bachelor's degree are required.

Nice to have

• Experience managing Service Planners and Agency Hierarchy Codes for telecommunications or WAN programs.
• Knowledge of CPIC and IT portfolio management frameworks.
• Department of Defense or civilian budget execution experience.
• Financial management or PMP certification.
• Experience with SharePoint site architecture or process automation tools.
