Civil Engineering Assistant - Coop Student (Development Group)

Location: Development Group offices in Burnaby and Langley, British Columbia, with outdoor field assignments and site visits as required.

Salary: $25–$27 CAD per hour, depending on experience, education, qualifications, skills, seniority, location, and other business factors.

What you will do

• Modify basic design drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Plot, assemble, and deliver drawing submission packages.
• Prepare project documentation and hard-copy or electronic file transfers.
• Maintain file naming and layer management standards.
• Complete field assignments, quality control procedures, and as-constructed field record drawings.

Requirements

• Currently completing a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience in a civil engineering environment.
• Previous exposure to AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for site visits.
• Willingness to work outdoors on-site as required.
• Accurate, high-quality work and strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
