Frontend Engineering Lead (AI)

Location: Remote, but must be currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, onboard, and support the professional development of the front-end engineering team in Buenos Aires.
• Define front-end architecture, engineering standards, code quality practices, and scalable component patterns.
• Conduct code reviews and promote clean, maintainable, and performant JavaScript solutions.
• Integrate AI-powered development tools, including Claude Code and coding assistants, into engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with Design, Product, leadership, and client teams to deliver pixel-perfect and accessible digital experiences.
• Oversee technical delivery, unit-testing strategies, accessibility compliance, and performance benchmarking.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership, mentorship, or engineering guidance.
• Advanced expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern component-based architecture.
• Experience with React, Svelte, Vue, GSAP, Webpack, automated testing tools, and AI development assistants such as Claude Code.
• Deep understanding of web accessibility, including ARIA and screen readers, and rendering performance at scale.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; must be currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
