Litigation and Safety Paralegal Lead

Location: In-office in Santa Monica, San Francisco, or New York; expected to work in an office 4+ days per week.

Salary: $121,000–$214,000 annually, depending on pay zone, location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.

What you will do

• Support the Litigation and Safety team across disputes, litigation matters, and regulatory response needs.
• Manage case preparation, fact investigation, witness contacts, deadlines, matter files, trackers, databases, and litigation-related communications.
• Coordinate discovery and e-discovery with managing attorneys, internal stakeholders, external legal teams, and the e-discovery team.
• Lead cross-functional projects, operational initiatives, knowledge management, and process organization.
• Research and summarize factual and statistical data and build litigation playbooks.
• Collaborate with Legal Operations while working independently and with managing attorneys.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of paralegal experience with significant litigation experience.
• Proficiency with technology databases, litigation management tools, and electronic discovery software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, writing, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, tight deadlines, cross-functional collaboration, and shifting priorities.
• Compliance with applicable professional requirements, such as California Business and Professions Code Section 6450.
