Legal Operations Associate

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and mark up NDAs, SaaS licenses, vendor contracts, and engagement letters.
• Research federal, state, and local laws and communicate regulatory requirements to operations teams.
• Build processes supporting compliance with Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Administration regulations.
• Manage contract databases, document systems, ticketing workflows, filing systems, and KPI tracking.
• Track GDPR, data privacy, and background check compliance requirements.
• Support legal projects, billing guidelines, and coordination with outside counsel.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of professional or work-study experience.
• Bachelor’s or graduate degree with a strong academic record.
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, judgment, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work autonomously and support projects of varying scope.

• Prior startup or legal experience.
