Inspection Engineer (Pressure Equipment)

Location: Field-based role in Oxford, covering South Wales, the South West, the Midlands, London, the South East and East Anglia, United Kingdom. Regular travel and occasional overnight stays are required.

What you will do

• Inspect pressure equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, safety devices, and related assets.
• Assess equipment condition and prepare technical reports with recommendations.
• Support customers with compliance, safety, and asset integrity requirements.
• Work independently across customer sites while maintaining high safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance to colleagues and customers.

Requirements

• Experience in pressure equipment inspection or engineering, mechanical, maintenance, reliability, integrity, or process engineering.
• Experience with pressure vessels, boilers, steam systems, piping, or other safety-critical equipment.
• Background in petrochemical, oil and gas, chemicals, manufacturing, power generation, utilities, or similar industrial environments.
• Engineering apprenticeship, ONC, HNC, HND, Engineering Technician qualification, or equivalent industry experience.
• Understanding of pressure equipment, engineering standards, and industrial safety requirements.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel are required.
