Firm Compliance Partner

Location: Home-based in England, United Kingdom; occasional travel may be required depending on the firm's needs or supervision activity.

What you will do

• Provide regulatory oversight for a portfolio of appointed representative firms through primarily remote supervision.
• Build working relationships with Firm Principals and provide practical compliance guidance while constructively challenging non-compliance.
• Plan and complete firm attestation reviews and governance assessments using evidence and professional judgement.
• Agree proportionate action plans, set timescales, and monitor corrective actions through to completion.
• Own identified issues through resolution, escalating material concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Support pre-vetting of firms seeking to join hirify.global by assessing compliance and conduct risks and contributing to onboarding decisions.

Requirements

• Existing experience in a compliance role and experience providing feedback to advisers or Firm Principals.
• Strong communication, questioning, analytical, and risk-assessment skills.
• Sound judgement and an inquisitive approach to developing action plans.
• Essential: Compliance & Risk qualification and QCF Level 4 or equivalent.
• Ability to plan and manage an independent workload while contributing to a collaborative team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Network, National, IFA, or restricted advice models.
