Senior SAP HANA Engineer (SAP HANA)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop performant calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript procedures for analytical and transactional workloads.
• Translate business and analytics requirements into maintainable HANA-native data models.
• Optimize queries, joins, aggregations, partitioning, pruning, and parallelization for HANA workloads.
• Lead performance reviews and audits using HANA Studio Plan Visualizer, ST04, ST05, and DBACOCKPIT.
• Design replication, data-tiering, security, capacity-planning, and sizing solutions for HANA systems.
• Collaborate with Basis, ABAP, and analytics teams, maintain technical documentation, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States for this fully remote position.
• 12+ years of SAP HANA development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on expertise with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, SQLScript, SQL, and HANA performance-tuning methodologies.
• Experience with HANA architecture, replication tools such as SLT, SDI, and SDA, and security models including analytic privileges and roles.
• Must already be authorized to work in the United States; eligible applicants include U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates. New H-1B sponsorship is not available.
