Manufacturing Engineer (9 Month Contract)

Location: Porcari, Lucca, Italy; onsite at the production site

What you will do

• Design, implement, and document shop floor manufacturing processes.
• Drive continuous improvements in production efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Participate in audits and provide technical support for production activities.
• Investigate problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement resolutions.
• Recommend new processes and equipment where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a technical diploma.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Production, or Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in engineering-led production of electromechanical products.
• Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, 5S, 5 Whys, Ishikawa analysis, gap analysis, and timing methods.
• Experience with data analysis, process performance measurement, root cause analysis, CAD software including AutoCAD and Solid Edge, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent Italian and professional English at minimum B2 level required.
