PDI - Technician II (Automotive)

Location: Mount Holly, North Carolina, US; onsite. Applicants must be able to work in or relocate to this location. Relocation assistance is not available.

Commercial vehicle manufacturer developing trucks, buses, and future driving technologies across electric, hydrogen, and autonomous platforms.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot equipment, process, production, quality, and engineering issues.
• Perform mechanical and technical repairs and preventive maintenance supporting manufacturing operations.
• Install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using assembly documentation.
• Support production goals, quality standards, workplace safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train and perform other jobs within the work group as required.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in commercial vehicle inspection, repair, or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, computer skills, and communication skills.
• Ability to access and understand assembly prints and work independently while collaborating with others.
• Ability to use power tools, stand on concrete for an entire shift, work under a chassis, reach overhead, and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime and either first or second shift.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the US; visa sponsorship and applications from existing visa holders are not accepted.
