VP-Actuary, Whole Life, Term and Additional Benefits Pricing

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; corporate onsite role

Salary: $176,000–$264,000 per year, plus eligibility for short-term and long-term incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead a team of 4–5 actuaries within the Product Pricing team.
• Define and execute long-term pricing strategy for whole life, term, and additional benefit products.
• Oversee pricing models, scenario analysis, and actuarial assessments across the product portfolio.
• Advise senior leadership on product design, profitability, risk, and complex business decisions.
• Incorporate regulatory, economic, competitive, underwriting, and customer trends into pricing and product decisions.
• Improve pricing tools, models, processes, analytical rigor, scalability, and insight quality while overseeing product taxation compliance.

Requirements

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
• At least 10 years of significant actuarial experience; life product experience is preferred.
• Substantial knowledge of a range of actuarial subjects.
• Experience building and sustaining high-performing teams and developing leadership talent.
• Ability to manage interdepartmental projects and direct team activities.
• Knowledge of company, industry, regulatory practices, and product taxation rules.
