Specialist Rotating Engineer (Oil & Gas): Leading the engineering, design, selection, procurement, and technical management of rotating equipment for offshore ADNOC projects with an accent on equipment reliability, international standards, and multidisciplinary integration. Focus on reviewing vendor documentation, supporting procurement and FAT activities, resolving complex equipment issues, and guiding commissioning and start-up.
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; based at the Client's Office or Contractor's Office.

What you will do
- Lead rotating equipment engineering and design for offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Review and approve datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, vendor drawings, and vendor documentation.
- Support the selection and design of compressors, turbines, pumps, blowers, diesel engines, generators, and packaged equipment.
- Coordinate rotating equipment interfaces with process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, structural, and procurement disciplines.
- Provide technical support during procurement, inspection, testing, FAT, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
- Resolve technical queries, equipment interfaces, engineering deviations, and site issues while monitoring deliverables and package schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Extensive rotating equipment engineering experience in oil and gas EPC or PMC projects.
- Strong offshore oil and gas experience, preferably with ADNOC or Middle East projects.
- Detailed knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, packaged rotating equipment, and applicable API and international standards.
- Experience with FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, vendor engineering, FAT, construction, and commissioning.
- Ability to coordinate vendors and multidisciplinary interfaces and independently resolve complex engineering issues.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in engineering.
- Professional Engineering certification.
- Previous experience in a PMC or Owner's Engineer environment.
- Experience participating in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, design, and constructability reviews.
