What you will do

• Lead and coordinate mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and control estimating across multiple tenders.
• Review and sign off quantities, unit rates, productivity norms, subcontractor prices and bases of estimate.
• Set tender strategies with Construction and Planning, including self-performance, subcontracting, prefabrication, modularisation and construction methodology.
• Oversee estimates for equipment, piping, pipelines, electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning support.
• Manage cost databases, benchmarks, estimating standards and templates, while validating assumptions against awarded-project data.
• Present estimates at tender reviews and management approvals, support client clarifications and negotiations, and develop subcontractor and vendor relationships across the GCC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering is mandatory.
• 10–15 years of estimating experience with EPC contractors.
• Experience with oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical or gas-processing projects in the Middle East.
• At least 5 years leading the MEI discipline.
• Experience balancing competitiveness and risk with incomplete FEED data, uncertain quantities, volatile material prices, long equipment lead times and complex scope splits.
• Ability to mentor estimators, assess performance and manage several large tenders simultaneously without compromising quality.
