E&I Estimator – EPC Tenders

What you will do

• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs from electrical, instrumentation, control, telecom, cable, earthing, lighting, and related engineering documents.
• Develop quantities from benchmarks, ratios, and historical data when FEED information is limited.
• Identify scope gaps, ambiguities, risks, vendor-package interfaces, free-issue items, and contractor scope splits.
• Prepare technical queries, clarifications, detailed estimates, unit rates, manpower histograms, equipment requirements, and planning inputs.
• Price multiple EPC and EPCC tenders under tight timelines and account for Middle East conditions, including summer working restrictions, remote desert sites, and logistics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5–7 years of estimating experience in EPC oil and gas, refinery, or petrochemical projects.
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience in the GCC.
• Hands-on experience pricing E&I scopes for NOC tenders, including ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, PDO, or KOC.
• Ability to work with limited FEED, indicative quantities, volatile copper prices, long lead times, and differing client standards and commercial conditions.
