Co-Op, Immuno-Assays and CBA (Biotech)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid 70/30 work model with significant in-office collaboration. Candidates must already hold US work authorization and maintain it without future sponsorship; only U.S. persons eligible under export-control requirements.

Salary: $20.00–$60.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support immunoassay development and laboratory activities for biomarker and immunogenicity testing.
• Prepare reagents, buffers, standards, controls, and samples for experiments.
• Assist with ligand-binding assay development and optimization, especially MSD singleplex and multiplex assays.
• Collect, organize, and perform basic analysis of experimental data using laboratory and scientific software.
• Maintain laboratory records and follow Good Documentation Practices, safety, quality, and data-integrity requirements.
• Contribute to assay automation, continuous improvement projects, team discussions, and experimental presentations.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
• Foundational laboratory experience from coursework, research, an internship, or a prior co-op.
• Basic knowledge of biology, immunology, biochemistry, or analytical laboratory principles.
• Ability to follow written procedures, maintain organized records, and work safely in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Existing US work authorization is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.
• Only U.S. persons eligible under applicable U.S. export-control requirements may be considered.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent academic achievement.
• Exposure to ELISA, MSD, cell-based assays, cell culture, or other immunological and biochemical techniques.
• Interest in immunoassays, biomarker analysis, mRNA vaccine and therapeutic research, or clinical bioanalysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or scientific data-analysis software.
